DESCRIPTION:This excursion is focused on completing the aquatic unit at a surf life saving level. Prior to this component a Royal Life Saving Bronze Medallion level of competency was delivered. This one day Course allows students to explore and engage with Surf Life Saving Bronze Medallion elements in the open water that were not possible in a pool setting. It will also including utilising the facilities of Long Reef Surf Life Saving Club to explore and engage in aquatic settings and rescues on the beach.This event will provide opportunities for students to visit and explore a SurfLife Saving Club and its role on the beach.
