DESCRIPTION:This expedition aligns with the SLR Syllabus module Outdoor Recreation (OR). In this Module students explore the ability to prepare and participate in Outdoor Recreational adventures in a safe manner. This will in-turn help prepare students to develop the skills necessary to plan and implement their own OR adventures in the future and to complete their OR module assessment task at the end of the term. This OR Micro-Adventure will take place between school hours. Students will pack their own hiking and camping kit to complete the trip. Students will have the opportunity to shower at the venue or back at school before classes start.
