THS Alumna and published writer Arielle Bodenstein dedicated her time to present her Writer’s Talk to our students this week.
Arielle’s short story, ‘The Otolith’ was published in the UTS Writers’ Anthology in 2020 and she has been honoured again this year as well with the inclusion of another of her short stories, ‘Where Have All The Sparrows Gone?’ in the 2021 edition.
She spoke to both our Yr 12 English Extension 1 students and some of our Yr 7 students about her craft & how to create literary worlds. Tips for the upcoming HSC exams were provided to our Yr 12s and both groups engaged in a lively Q&A.
The English faculty wishes to thank Arielle for her time and expertise, and cannot wait to read more of her work in the future!
