Former student Travis Bazzana, class of 2020 has moved to the USA to play baseball for the Corvallis Knights in the West Coast League and to attend Oregon State University.
He played for Team Australia (Major League Baseball) in the U18 World Baseball Cup in 2019.
He has won the U16 National Championship MVP.
Before leaving for the USA he played for the Ryde Hawks State League 1st Grade squad from the age of 15.
Last week he was awarded player of the match and this week hit his first career home run clinching the game in front of a home crowd.
Congratulations to Travis, clearly all his determination and hard work has helped him achieve his goals.
