Two of our Year 10 students, Bethany and Junhee have been participating in a short Automotive course at Hornsby TAFE this term. They have been stripping engines and rebuilding them, changing the rims on tyres, learning how to align and balance tyres on the tyre balancing machine, working on carburettors etc. Both students have enjoyed the course and it has shown them a glimpse of what it would be like working as an automotive apprentice.
