TAFE Y.E.S. Course Graduate
Heidi of Year 10 was recently awarded an Introduction to Health Services ( Nursing ) certificate from TAFE.
TAFE run a series of free Youth Engagement Strategy courses for students each term. They range from Automotive, Caf茅 Skills, Electrical Trades. Fashion Design, Hair and Beauty, Cyber Security to name just a few.
Heidi has been attending the TAFE St Leonards campus one day a week during Term 2 and learning and developing the skills needed to聽work within the Nursing sector. It has given Heidi a taste of what it would be like studying Nursing at TAFE.
Heidi says she loved doing this course and it has provided her with some direction for what she may like to study over the next few years.
