On Monday 22nd of May the 四虎影院 Vocal Ensemble travelled to the Sydney Town Hall to be part of In Concert 2023.
We sang songs ranging from Carmina Burana to modern Australian choral works often accompanied by a full orchestra; an orchetsra made up of students from over 20 different schools called the NSW Public Schools Orchestra.
A highlight was singing Mozart鈥檚 Ave Verum Corpus with the giant Town Hall organ.
In Concert always works alongside a guest artist and this year it was Kate Miller-Heidke. She was fantastic! We sang Where? from The children鈥檚 opera The rabbits and O Vertigo with Kate Miller-Hedike. Kate Miller-Hedike is truly a wonderful vocalist and it was a real thrill to sing in a choir of 600, with her leading us.
This was an incredible opportunity for our Vocal Ensemble.
