Back on the 22nd May, Year 11 and 12 Design and Technology students had the opportunity to meet and interact with an outstanding bunch of Design Industry Professionals in Turrmurra High School鈥檚 very first 鈥楳eet a Designer Day鈥.
The Designers consisted of 6 THS Alumni including: Sandy Ghent (Industrial Designer- Electrolux), Gemma Ferguson (Product Designer), Kiran Best (Fashion Designer), Keith Perry (Product Designer), Chelsea Lane (Interior Designer) and Thea Schmertmann聽(Design student at University).
Our special guest and key note speaker for the day was the founder and CEO of the international brand, Huskee Cup, Mr Saxon Wright.
This opportunity was very well received by students and many commented on the value of speaking with Industry professionals and hearing about their pathway into the design field and their design process.
A huge thankyou for everyone that was involved in making the day a success.
