Early in Term 2, UTS invited 30 Year 11 students to go onto campus and experience their Discovery Day.
The THS students got to experience what it would be like to be a university student on the UTS campus. They were given tips on how best to transition from high school into university, how best to choose your university course, what a typical weekly timetable might look like etc.
The highlight of the day were the two workshops that the students were able to participate in. There was a range of activities and they included Mechatronic Engineering, Maths, Transdisciplinary Innovation, Marketing and pitch campaigns, Health and also Communication within the Digital world.
