Recreational pilot Flight Captain Arblaster once again piloted a bus load of Year 12 students to and from AutoAvia aeronautical design office at Bankstown Airport on the 1st of May.
Once again, all the students got to see an industry standard CAD program, finite element analysis program (FEA) and velocity prediction program (VPP) and their application to work being undertaken by AutoAvia. The students also had a walk-through of a fixed wing aircraft maintenance hangar and a helicopter hangar.
