We celebrated Orlando Douglas-Giles (Yr 12 2023) at the Young Writers Showcase launch, held for the first time as part of the Sydney Writers’ Festival.
Congratulations to Orlando Douglas-Giles and the other 18 students whose English Extension 2 Major Works were selected for publication in the 2023 Young Writers Showcase anthology.
As an additional surprise, Orlando’s creative nonfiction piece, ‘The fishermen’s songs’ inspired the front cover artwork.
